I was talking to a friend yesterday (who finished 5th at Kona in her age group) who advised that we do a half 8-10 weeks before the race to practice nutrition.
I am planning to do the white lake half the first week in May (see setupevents.com). Its about a one to two hour drive from durham and a LOVELY course (read flat). If you guys wanted to come over and do it you can stay with me ..just an option!
Im also planning to do a half marathon on March 21st which is down the road from where I live to get me moving... any company for that too will be much appreciated!!
