Work it

Hey ladies,

I cannot tell you how much it comforts me to hear Beth and Shefali remind us NOT to overtrain and injur ourselves. And with that, I'm also committing to some better nutrition for the next 36 weeks. Yes, while my body does love ice cream (and I will continue to give it some), we are going to be putting our muscles through quite a bit of exhaustion and I want to make sure they can bounce back for more...so here I proclaim an attempt at eating healthy.

Stay tuned for success or failure updates. :)

And Shef- thanks for the training plan! I will look at that today! I started the trifuel one this morning and did a 50 min. bike ride - not hard, but 95-105 rpm and it was kind of nice to focus on keeping my heartrate in a certain zone instead of the mileage or intensity. I had to do swap Monday and Tuesday's workouts this week because of after school crap going on/holiday get-togethers.

But here's my question - all of the tri plans I've read mention the "small chainring" on your bike. I don't know what that means. Is that like an easy gear?

And Shef - how do you access that training log on the site you sent? Lastly -adorable picture of you sleeping...but you let your dogs sleep on you like that?! Don't they stink?!

Much love to you all and hope the short week treats you well!

xoxo,
jboo
